One of my favorite things in the parks is the abundant amount of snacks and food offered in the parks and resorts. There is truly something for everyone and I plan to show you some of the most iconic and downright delicious snacks that you can find available on Walt Disney property! Here are my top snacks and drinks to eat and drink at Walt Disney World!
The first delicious and photo worthy snack can be found at Magic Kingdom. This Mickey Waffle with powdered sugar can be found at Sleepy Hollow at Liberty Square. This snack costs $5.79 and is accepted on the Disney Dining Plan. If you are looking for more than just powdered sugar, you can also have it served with strawberries and whipped cream. Sleepy Hollow is your one stop shop for waffle sandwiches or funnel cakes with some amazing toppings!
There is nothing better than a Dole Whip on a hot summer day (Ok, on any day for that matter) Aloha Isle in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom serves up dole whip- a very popular frozen treat blended in pineapple, vanilla or swirled flavors. Not only does Aloha Isle serve up dole whip cups, but you can also order a pineapple float or pineapple upside down cake. All of these items do include the dole whip, so you will not be disappointed! The above snack is a swirled dole whip (Pineapple and vanilla blended together). This snack costs $4.49 and is accepted on the Disney Dining Plan.
When leaving Magic Kingdom after a fun filled day, I always stop at Main Street Confectionery on my way out. This old fashioned candy shop sells character inspired candy apples, themed krispie treats, cookies, cake pops, marshmallow treats, fudge, cupcakes, and bulk candy. Whew! Talk about a sweet tooth’s dream come true! These cake pops pictured above cost $ 4.19 each and are also accepted on the Disney Dining Plan.
Our next stop brings us to our next park- Epcot! Found in Norway in the World Showcase Pavilion, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is not to be missed! This bakery serves many traditional Norwegian specialties including kringla sweet pretzels, cream filled pastry horns, and my personal favorite- the School Bread! Pictured above, the school bread is a sweet cardamom bun filled with vanilla crème custard and topped with glazed and toasted coconut. This snack costs $3.49 and is accepted on the Disney Dining Plan.
This next stop is for anyone that may like to indulge and enjoy an adult beverage in the park. ;) I come to the Rose & Crown pub in the United Kingdom pavilion more for the drinks than the food, but you can not go wrong with pairing their drinks with the fish and chips, or if you want something sweeter, the sticky toffee pudding is delicious! The Rose & Crown Pub has a bar area on one side, but is also a family-friendly restaurant with British dishes, waterfront dining, and lively entertainment. The Rose & Crown Pub has a large selection of British beers, ciders, scotches, and signature cocktails. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted when dining here!
Every time I leave Epcot, I love to stop at the Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea kiosk for a frozen cappuccino (with chocolate drizzle) for a little caffeine boost! The best thing about Joffrey’s coffee is that it can be found at all parks and resorts along with most restaurants on Disney property. It is the official coffee of Disney World! The frozen cappuccino (pictured above) is $5.39 and is accepted on the Disney Dining Plan.
Sometimes my favorite snacks and treats come from hidden gems- like this one! Found inside Animal Kingdom in Africa, Zuri’s Sweets Shop offers a wonderland of sweet candies and treats, but also healthy snacks including almonds, granola, and yogurt covered pretzels. If you’re like me and want sweet over healthy (because we all know calories don’t count at Disney… right?!;)) then this shop is for you! Themed cookies, brownies, cake pops, and candy apples line the bakery shelves just waiting for you to buy them! Not only can you stop in here for a quick snack, but this shop also includes Africa-themed cookbooks and housewares. The cookie shown above cost $3.99 and is available on the Disney Dining Plan.
How fun is this drink?! Found in Animal Kingdom’s newest land: Pandora, the Night Blossom from Pongu Pongu is sweet and refreshing. Not to mention, they even offer an added bonus of a shot of rum to make it alcoholic if you’re in the mood for a little treat for your legal aged self! If you are not in the mood for a drink, Pongu Pongu also offers a Pongu Lumpia- a pineapple cream cheese spring roll as well as a Colossal Pretzel with cheese sauce. The Night Blossom (Non-Alcoholic) is $5.99 and the Rum Blossom (alcoholic) is $10.25. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted on some of the food options.
Hollywood Studios just opened Toy Story Land and WOW it does not disappoint! While Toy Story Land is wildly popular, Hollywood Studios has many other great areas in the park with some fantastic snack choices. This Cookies n’ Cream funnel cake is available at the Oasis Canteen at Hollywood Studios. Just imagine..fried dough, whipped cream, vanilla soft serve, cookie chunks, and oreo Mickey “ears” on top!🍦🍪🍧 Are you hungry yet?! This delicious snack costs less than $9 and is even part of the Disney dining plan!
The most iconic theme park snack at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland is hands down the Mickey pretzel! Mickey Pretzels are a staple snack for any guest visiting a Disney park. They often come with a delicious cheese sauce but they also go well with a little yellow mustard, if I do say so myself! These pretzels can be found at kiosks around the parks for $5.00 (without cheese sauce) and $6.00 with cheese sauce! They also count as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plans!
I love Disney s’more and s’more every day! 😉 These delicious s’mores are available at The Ganachery in Disney Springs. They are made to order allowing you to watch your s’more be created in the show kitchen. They even use a blow torch to toast the marshmallow! 😯 The s’more is $8.00 and worth every penny! If smores aren’t your thing, the Ganachery serves sophisticated chocolates and ganache. Elegant treats are also packaged and sold here, making wonderful gifts! The Disney Dining Plan is not accepted here. One of the best things about Disney Springs is that you can visit for free (park admission is not required) and you can get some of the best Disney food here!
On the other side of Disney Springs is Amorette’s Patisserie. Enjoy a glass of Fairy Tale Celebration Cuvee topped with millennial pink chocolate ears. It can’t get better than that! Just be warned- This drink is on the pricey side and when you order it, you will be charged separately for a glass of champs and the millennial pink ears! It does cost $18, but if you are looking to splurge (and get a really cute photo) this is your drink! If sparkling wine isn’t your thing, Amorette’s Patisserie also serves eclairs, cheesecake, cookies, macarons, and signature cakes!
Turkey legs taste so good when they come in the form of a rice krispy treat! These cute treats are available at Goofy’s Candy Company inside the Disney Springs Marketplace. Goofy’s Candy Company offers bags of flavored popcorn, fresh cotton candy, and Disney themed items like caramel apples, cookies, and cake pops. A trip to Goofy’s Candy Company is a must when visiting Disney Springs. These treats make great souvenirs!
