As a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World, I always pack the essentials for the parks. The worst thing you can do when going to the parks is over pack your day bag. If you make sure to pack the necessities, it keeps you from digging around trying to find what you specifically need! Below you’ll find a list of items I bring to the parks and hopefully make your packing list a little more organized for your next trip to Disney!

My Top 10 Must-Pack Items:

  1. Cell phone/Camera with portable charger: The portable charger is SO important! There is nothing worse having to worry about your phone or camera dying while you are on vacation. Pack one in your bag to take with you so you don’t even have to worry about that! Did you know there are also specific locations at Walt Disney World inside the parks that have portable chargers that you can purchase? When the battery runs out on them, you can return it to the portable charger station and replace it with a new one! This is an excellent option in case you forget your portable charger.
  2. Travel hand sanitizer
  3. ID/Cash and Credit card (All kept in a small wallet!)
  4. Handheld fan (This is my LIFESAVER for those hot and humid days at the parks) Not only do I use this fan at the parks, but now I bring it with me most places! I love it!
  5. Sunscreen: Even on a cloudy day you can get sunburned, especially in Florida! I recommend the face sticks and the travel sunscreens so that they fit easily into your bag.
  6. Minnie ears or hat and travel hairbrush
  7. Water and snacks: Did you know you can bring in your own drinks and snacks into the parks? As long as the containers are not glass, you are free to bring in your own food and drinks.
  8. Rain Coat, poncho or travel umbrella: Let’s face it. It can be sunny one minute and pouring rain the next. This is Florida, what can I say?! Save yourself some money and bring your own ponchos from home. You can purchase them from the closest Walgreens or Walmart (Even Amazon sells them for cheap!) Ponchos are almost $10 at the parks!
  9. Autograph book/photo mat & pen: I personally love the photo mat. Many characters can sign it and then you can bring it home to frame with a cute picture of your family at home. It’s a great way to display the autographs instead of putting in a book you’ll never look at again.
  10. Wet wipes (Great for little ones that spill on them and have sticky hands or if you want to wipe down your table area before you eat!)

PS. My rose gold backpack is now available at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom! Priced at $85, but Annual Pass discounts are available!
