All About Disney’s FastPass+ System

Utilizing Disney’s FastPass+ system is a great way to help maximize your time in the parks. For each day of your park visit, you can reserve 3 FastPass+ Selections. After you have used your first 3 fast passes, you can go on to the My Disney Experience app or use the in-park kiosks to add another one.

For extra convenience, you are assigned an arrival window (usually one hour long) for each attraction you select. Show up any time that you wish during this window. Don’t worry about rushing to finish up a meal or getting delayed at another show or attraction.

When it is within your designated arrival window time and you are ready to visit an attraction, all you need to do is proceed to the attraction, go to the FastPass+ entrance and touch your Magic Band or card to the touch point system.

If you think you will miss a FastPass+ attraction arrival window—don’t worry! If plans change while you’re at the park, you can modify your selections on your mobile device or at a FastPass+ kiosk as long as FastPass+ experiences are still available.  Just remember that it’s best to make changes to your FastPass+ selection before the start time of the arrival window.

Not only can you use the FastPass+ system, but you can still use the standby queues available at all operating attractions.  Whether you’re attempting to view or modify your current FastPass+ selections for the day, or just trying to plan your itinerary with fellow Guests, drop by one of these locations to get started. Have an additional question about FastPass+ that needs an answer? Ask the experts! At each kiosk, an official FastPass+ Cast Member will always be on hand to assist you with any issue.

Disney’s FastPass+ System is complementary to all guests! This free service is a great Disney feature and can easily be accessed from the My Disney Experience app as well as online. Why not take advantage of this great time saver while in the parks?!
