DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios officially opens June 14th but as an annual passholder, we got to preview the cute new area! The re-theme is great and kids will love it. I love the splash areas and water features for the little ones to enjoy and play in.  I love that you can meet so many characters and also enjoy some time to sit and relax while the kids play. DreamWorks Land has replaced Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone and offers more interactive features for children to enjoy.

Trolls Trollercoaster

Trolls Trollercoaster is a family-friendly roller coaster that brings the world of the Trolls franchise to life. Board the Caterbus and join Poppy, Tiny, Satin, and Chenille as you try to escape spooky spiders.

Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp

Step into Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp, which is an immersive play zone inspired by the Kung Fu Panda films. You’ll find interactive features such as water cannons, dump buckets, giant fans, gongs, and merry-go-round noodle bowls.

Poppy’s Playground

Children can play underneath a 20-foot mushroom in Poppy’s Playground, which also includes climbing and bouncing structures filled with bright flowers and playful bugs.

Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres

Cool off in Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres. This play area has four slides, a splash-filled wet play zone, and a playful playground paired with Shrek’s iconic outhouse.

Mama Luna Feline Fiesta

Mama Luna Feline Fiesta transports guests into the world of Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish. Guests can play with Mama Luna’s cats through interactive screens that are activated by buttons, bells, maracas, and levers.

King Harold’s Swamp Symphony

Create music at King Harold’s Swamp Symphony. As you step, touch, and interact, the lily pads awaken the frog choir. Each lily pad brings a unique note to life.

Shrek’s Swamp Meet

Meet Shrek, Princess Fiona, and Donkey, at Shrek’s Swamp Meet outside of Shrek’s cottage.

Po Live!

Meet and talk with Po on a digital animated screen. He’ll train you in kung fu while babysitting his baby cousin and cooking snacks.

Dreamworks Character Zone

At Dreamworks Character Zone, this is your chance to meet and interact with your favorite DreamWorks characters, including Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse, Guy Diamond or Poppy from Trolls, or Puss in Boots from Shrek. (Note: characters do rotate throughout the day.)

DreamWorks Imagination Celebration

This experience is located inside the brand-new DreamWorks Theater. It includes visits from Shrek + Donkey, Po from Kung Fu Panda, Poppy and Branch from “Trolls”, and King Julien from “Madagascar.” You’ll get to listen to pop songs and see dancing and tons of entertainment. I love that this is inside and this show is about 20 minutes long so you can sit down, rest, and enjoy the cold air conditioning.
