The newest Disney Cruise Line ship is now sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida! I was lucky enough to sail on a preview voyage before the inaugural sailing in December with my travel agency, and I’m here to finally share my review with you! I LOVE this ship. This ship is gorgeous, and it’s the best ship to sail on for long itineraries. Thinking about sailing on this ship? Keep reading about the ship below and then be sure to contact me for a free quote and onboard credit when booking this ship. Mention this blog post for the credit!

About

The Disney Treasure is one of the three Triton-class ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Triton Class also includes the Disney Wish and will also include the Disney Destiny, which launches later in 2025.

The Treasure is currently sailing 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, FL

The Disney Treasure has an Aladdin theme. As soon as you step inside the ship and enter the Grand Hall, you’ll see a beautiful golden statue of Aladdin and Jasmine flying on their carpet and a gorgeous chandelier with six lanterns. Each lantern represents a current ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

Main Dining

Rotational Dining

Rotational dining is such a fun concept that Disney does. I love other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, but rotational dining is something that I really enjoy with Disney. Rotational dining means that you will change restaurants each night of your Disney cruise. However, your waitstaff will move with you so that way you have the same waitstaff each night. I love this because they get to know you during your sailing and it’s great to see them each night. The Disney Treasure has 3 themed dining experiences onboard. All 3 of these restaurants are unique and such a fun way to eat dinner each night.

As part of rotational dining, you’ll get to experience:

1923:  The golden age of animations

World of Marvel: An Avengers mission

Plaza de Coco: Exclusive to the Treasure

Casual Dining

Marceline Market is home to American classics and international specialties. You can get quick service meals for breakfast and lunch.

Poolside Dining

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods offers service meals consisting of Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream, Goofy’s Grill, and Mickey’s Smokestack Barbeque.

Jumbeaux’s Sweets: Jumbeaux’s Sweets is a quick-service snack location with ice cream and delicious desserts (additional charges apply)

Cafes

Jade Cricket Cafe

HeiHei Cafe

On Board Entertainment

The Grand Hall

This is the gathering space for guests on the ship. It’s the home base for character encounters, comedy shows, and musical performances.

Never Land and Wonderland Cinemas

The screening rooms are the perfect spot to see a Disney movie on board.

The AquaMouse

This attraction at sea allows you to join Captain Mickey and Minnie as they search for treasure. You’ll slide through the ship’s top deck on this water ride.

Sarabi Lounge

The event/entertainment space onboard the Disney Treasure is a family-use area during the day and, at night, is an adult-exclusive entertainment area.

Hero Zone

Families can play in physical challenges and competitions and take part in an obstacle course.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers a unique experience to young guests ages 3 to 12 years old who want to transform into one of their favorite Disney characters. On Pirate Night, you can even experience a pirate theme. Pro Tip: Even adults can get pixie dusted here!

Broadway Style Entertainment

Disney has to call their shows “Boardway Style” because even though the show can be the same standards as a Broadway musical you would see on Broadway since it’s a shorter length of production, they are required to call it this. While sailing on the Disney Treasure, you’ll get to see a live performance of “Disney Seas the Adventure,” which is a story that features songs and characters from great Disney films. “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Tale of Moana” are other shows you will see on board. Moana is the all-new Disney Cruise Line show and exclusive to the Treasure. All 3 shows are worth seeing!

Deck Shows

“Let’s Set Sail” is the deck party show that you’ll get to see when you leave Port Canaveral.

“Pirates Rockin’ Parlay Party” is a pirate-themed show that features fireworks at sea. Did you know that Disney Cruise Lines is the only cruise line allowed to launch fireworks at sea?

Character Experiences

You will see some of your favorite Disney friends on deck posing for photos at the Grand Hall or inside the Oceaneer Club.

*Special Note: Be sure to check the Navigator App to see all the fun for kids and adults and entertainment throughout your cruise.

Adult Exclusive Areas

Adult-Only Restaurants

The Disney Treasure has a great adult-only space for you to relax away from the kids. Want to book a Disney cruise and aren’t bringing kids? That’s okay, too! Disney may cater to families, but there are tons of adult-only entertainment for you to experience on board. Palo Steakhouse is an adults-only dining venue. Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement is a very fancy, adults-only restaurant where you can have a gourmet menu with French-inspired food. Both restaurants are inspired by Beauty and the Beast, so you still have the Disney experience while eating at both of these restaurants.

Senses Spa

Senses Spa is home to The Rainforest. This is the indoor and outdoor space where adults can rest and relax. The indoor area has heated loungers, an aromatherapy steam room, a dry sauna, and an ice room. The outdoor space has a private area with whirlpool spas and lounge areas.

Adult-Only Lounge Areas

Periscope Pub: A maritime pub that has live sports on TV

Haunted Mansion Parlor

Skipper Society

Scat Cat Lounge: Piano bar offering wines and cocktails.

The Rose: This is a beautiful adult-only location that is themed from Beauty and the Beast.

The Cove: This is the perfect place to grab a specialty coffee in the morning. Then, in the evening, get a nightcap and dessert before heading to a show. (not adult-only but a great place for adults to relax)

Kids Club

The best part of a Disney Cruise is the Kids Club that each ship offers. Disney is the creme de la creme of Kids Clubs on all ships because of the theme and detail that goes into each area. All activities are age-appropriate and supervised by the Kids Club staff. There is no charge for participating in youth activities.

“Its a Small World” Nursery (6 months to 3 years)

A nursery that provides childcare services for infants and toddlers, featuring a safe and stimulating environment with trained staff and age-appropriate activities.

Oceaneer Club (3 to 10 years)

The Oceaneer Club is home to interactive themed experiences, like the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab. Aspiring Imagineers can get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring Disney magic to life. They’ll even have a chance to participate in hands-on experiments and design their very own attraction! The young Avengers onboard can put their skills to the test and suit up for a virtual battle at Marvel Super Hero Academy.

Disney’s Oceaneer Lab (3 to 10 years)

Similar to Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab provides interactive play and educational activities but with a focus on creativity and experimentation. The Oceaneer Lab and the Oceaneer Club are connected.

Edge (11 to 14 years)

Edge is a tween-exclusive space featuring high-tech entertainment, games, and activities, providing a hangout spot for older kids.

Vibe (14 to 17 years)

Vibe is a teens-only lounge where older kids can socialize, enjoy different entertainment options, and participate in themed events and activities.

Pool Area

The pool decks have been reimagined for the entire family to enjoy while on the ship. You’ll find 6 pools that are different depths and sizes. The AquaMouse is the first attraction at sea. This is a water coaster with animated scenes and special effects that takes you through the upper decks of the ship.
