Royal Caribbean has reimagined the classic beach day with the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island. Royal Beach Club is an all-inclusive beach club experience in Nassau, Bahamas that’s perfect for cruisers looking to maximize their time ashore. Opened in December 2025, this destination blends chill beach vibes, lively party energy, family fun, and Bahamian culture into one unforgettable day by the water.

Where It Is & How It Works

Royal Beach Club is located on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas, just a short distance from Royal Caribbean’s cruise port. It’s exclusively available to Royal Caribbean Group guests — including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea passengers  as a bookable shore excursion.

You must purchase a day pass to enter. Access isn’t free — even if you already have a cruise beverage package — but once inside, most amenities are included. Note: This is nothing like Perfect Day at CocoCay which is included with your cruise fare when you stop there. This is just a shore excursion that you can book just like any other shore excursion when visiting Nassau, Bahamas for the day.

Transportation to and from the club is provided via complimentary water ferries from the cruise terminal. When you dock in Nassau and depart the ship, you’ll start to walk down the pier and start seeing signs for Royal Beach Club. Follow these signs to the water taxi dock.

Day Pass Options & What’s Included

When you book your Royal Beach Club day pass, you’ll enjoy a truly hassle-free beach experience:

5. Three swim-up bars plus seven additional beach bars

6. Complimentary loungers, umbrellas, towels, Wi-Fi, showers & lockers

7.Entertainment like live music and DJ sets

Note: You can choose an all-inclusive pass (alcoholic + non-alcoholic drinks) or a pass with non-alcoholic drinks only — ideal for families or non-drinkers.

PS. Premium cabanas and private spaces are available for an extra fee if you’re looking for a VIP experience.

 Zones & Experiences to Explore

Royal Beach Club is divided into areas with different vibes, so you can tailor your day:

 1. Family Beach

Perfect for kids and groups — relaxed atmosphere with games like jumbo Jenga and cornhole, plus the shallow zero-entry pool and swim-up bar. I saw so many families and the majority of families with kids at this location. the pool space is huge and the zero-entry feature is a huge benefit to this for families with littles.

The Ultimate Family Cabana offers a private experience with two levels, a whirlpool, slide, drink machine, and attendant service (additional cost).

 2. Chill Beach

Ideal for lounging with a cocktail, soaking in ocean views, and enjoying a more peaceful beach vibe. This is where we spent the majority of our time! It almost got too quiet in the afternoon so we opted to walk down to the Party Cove to check out the party scene where it was loud and crazy later in the day!

 3. Party Cove

This is where the party turns up — with DJ beats, dancing, and the Floating Flamingo, the world’s largest swim-up bar, serving signature drinks all day. This turned into a lowkey MTV Spring Break in the afternoon. It was fun to see and people watch but there weren’t many kids in this location later in the day. This is perfect for adults, large groups, and bachelorette/bachelor parties.

Food & Drink Highlights

Food is served at casual grill stations called Paradise Grills, with fresh, island-inspired dishes included with your day pass. Everything we ate was really good here and was happy to see the quality of the food was better than expected. Drinks are available all throughout the club if you booked the open-bar experience — from tropical cocktails to refreshing mocktails, you’ll find your favorite drink of choice here.

Family Friendly – With Variety

Royal Beach Club welcomes guests of all ages and offers activities for everyone:

Zero-entry pools for little ones

Family games and entertainment

Plenty of seating and spaces to relax

Wheelchair accessible transport and facilities

Tips for Planning Your Visit

1. Book early — day passes can sell out quickly, especially on peak cruise days. (I can see this being VERY popular in the summer)
2.  Check the Royal Caribbean app or “My Cruise” section to reserve your pass before sailing.
 3. Bring sunscreen, swimwear, and a good book — you’ll want to relax!
 4. Cabana upgrades are worth considering for extra shade and service.

The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is not just a beach — it’s an all-inclusive Bahamian escape that pairs convenience with vibrant beach culture. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or as a couple, it’s a standout way to spend your day in Nassau and make the most of your cruise port stop. As someone who has always stayed on the ship on port days in Nassau, I can see this was definitely worth it. If you’re booking a similar excursion to visit a beach, the price is very similar to this and you know you’re getting the elevated Royal Caribbean experience. The facilities were clean, it was very close to the ship and easy to get to, we felt safe, and the employees were all very personable and friendly. This is definitely something I will recommend to my clients when looking for something to do in Nassau!
