Universal’s Terra Luna Resort is officially open! This resort is part of the Epic Universe South Campus location at Universal Orlando.

Terra Luna Resort is one of the three resorts that are now open at Universal Orlando. Universal’s Stella Nova Resort and Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel are also part of this area of new hotels right near the  Epic Universe theme park.

Terra Luna Resort is themed to explore the unknown and discover new landscapes including planets and moons.

Location

Terra Luna is a 5-minute drive or 25-minute walk to Epic Universe. While you can see Epic Universe from the resort, the park is about a mile away. You can take a park shuttle to the parks.

Terra Luna is about a 15-minute drive from Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay Water Park. There is a park shuttle that will take you from the resort to these parks.

Terra Luna Resort offers a variety of amenities and dining options, including:

Omege Cafe and Market: Enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner in this dining room with tons of American classic food options to choose from. This is a quick service location. the market offers fresh pastries, sandwiches, cold drinks, and a coffee station that serves Starbucks coffee.

Moonrise Bar and Moonrise Grill: Enjoy burgers, quesadillas, salads, and more along with a full bar for alcoholic drinks. This is a poolside full-service bar, with beer, and wine.

Luna Bar: Lobby bar featuring craft cocktails, wine, and beer.

Pizza Delivery: Order a freshly-made pizza delivered directly to your room.

Theme Park Benefits

Use early park admission to enjoy select attractions in one of our amazing theme parks, including Universal Epic Universe, up to an hour before the park opening. Valid theme park admission is required to utilize this benefit.

Complimentary shuttles are available to Universal Orlando theme parks and CityWalk.

During your stay at Terra Luna, your room key gives you resort-wide charging privileges throughout Universal Orlando.

Shop at select stores in the theme parks as well as CityWalk and your purchases will be delivered directly to your hotel, free of charge.

Review

Overall, this resort is very nice for what you are getting. It is the exact same as Stella Nova Resort.  The pool area is massive, just like Stella Nova. There are tons of seats and umbrellas for everyone to use. All rooms are only Standard 2 queen rooms, so if you need more space, this resort would not be what you’re looking for.  It’s a great option for cost-effective rooms and a great choice to be near Epic Resort.  Between the 2, I would choose Stella Nova just because it’s a bit closer to Epic Universe with a direct walking path.
