I recently visited Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk and I am SO glad I finally checked it off my list of Disney restaurants to try. I loved it and can’t wait to go back! I know some guests have negative feedback and reviews about The Cake Bake Shop due to it being higher end and a little pricey, but I think it is a great restaurant choice for a special occasion when visiting Walt Disney World.

There are cocktails and wine if you want to make the occasion even a bit more special.

One of the most memorable offerings here is the Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea which is a refined tea experience that’s perfect for a celebration or a relaxing visit with friends and family. With premium teas, finger sandwiches, seasonal scones, and signature pastries, this experience is designed for marking something special and highly recommended.

 Decadent Desserts That Steal the Show

No special occasion meal is complete without dessert! At the Cake Bake Shop, the desserts are amazing. The adjoining bakery features beautifully crafted cakes, French macarons, cheesecake, brownies, and more, presented like edible works of art (with more glitter!!)  Some guests think that the cake was too dry or too expensive, and yes, you are paying Disney prices but my slice (wedge is more like it lol) was really good!

 Perfect for Photos & Memories

Cake Bake Shop is seriously stunning inside. I love the decor in this restaurant .Whether you want photos with your cake or toasting with champagne by the lake, this restaurant elevates the experience and you’ll get tons of great lighting for photos.

 Tips for Your Special Occasion Visit

Make advanced reservations: It’s a table-service restaurant with limited seating, so booking ahead through the My Disney Experience app or OpenTable is recommended.

Plan for a leisurely meal: With so much to taste and enjoy, carve out enough time to savor your experience. This restaurant is not a quick experience.

Pair with a BoardWalk stroll: After your meal, take a walk around Crescent Lake. It’s so beautiful at sunset!
