The Boathouse Restaurant at Disney Springs (located in Walt Disney World) is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Orlando! Every time I eat here, I have such a great meal and love that I get to pretend that I’m on vacation. Being a local, it’s fun to pretend to vacation like everyone else that is eating there too. ;)

The Boathouse Restaurant offers upscale waterfront dining that includes retro boats, vintage amphicars, great food, and delicious drinks. I have eaten here several times, and every meal I have had is always so good!!

The Boathouse offers fresh seafood as well as American food that includes the most amazing filet mignon sliders I have ever had (try them- you won’t regret it!!) You can also choose from fresh fish, steak, pasta, salads and more! If you have room for dessert, they have everything from key lime pie, s’mores baked Alaska and the biggest pieces of cake slices (I call them a wedge because they are so big!!).

If you’re looking for more of a “bar” setting, you can sit at the Captain’s Raw Bar, which offers oysters on the half shell and has views of the water. This is the front bar that you’ll see as soon as you enter the restaurant. Although I don’t like oysters, they always look so fresh and tasty!

Another great bar is the Dock Bar located behind the restaurant! This bar will definitely make you feel like you’re on vacation because it has gorgeous waterfront views with a boardwalk featuring tons of retro boats. You’ll also see the amphicars pass you by while you are eating or sitting for a drink!

Before of after your meal at the Boathouse, be sure to try out the amphicars! You can book a 20-minute guided tour of the lake aboard an amphicar! These amphicars launch from the land and enter the water. Each “car” has a boat captain and can accommodate up to 3 people. The cost is $125 per 20-minute trip. These cars run daily from 10 AM to 10 AM (weather permitting). I took Dan for a special occasion and it was so cool! It’s so funny seeing these cars in the water and motoring around the lake. I definitely recommend it, if you’re looking for something fun or special to try out!

I highly recommend advance recommendations when trying to eat here. Lunch reservations are usually easier to get than dinner reservations. You can make these via the My Disney Experience app or use Open Table. I prefer Open Table so I can collect loyalty points,  but if you don’t see any available times listed, be sure to check My Disney Experience. Reservations will be listed on both.  Reservations for the Boathouse will be available on My Disney Experience 60 days prior to the date you are interested in visiting. Annual Passholders also receive a discount when dining here.

If you’re looking for a fun restaurant with a delicious and extensive menu at Walt Disney World, try out the Boathouse. You won’t be disappointed! Be sure to try their signature rolls (that warm glaze on top is SO good), the Duo Dips (pimento cheese and salsa with chips), and the filet mignon sliders. This is all shown above!

Looking for a fun drink to try? Order the Duck Duck Razz! This drink includes Stoli Razz, Peach Schnapps, Blue Curacao, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, and a cute duck to garnish it!

I’m off to book my own reservation again because this post has made me hungry haha!
