Fireworks at Walt Disney World and Disneyland are BACK and I am so excited!! I was at Magic Kingdom the first night fireworks returned, and a year and a half later, it is SO good to see them.

Magic Kingdom will be showing a “Happily Ever After” fireworks show every night from July 1st and every night after. The showtimes are listed on the Disney parks calendar. Happily Ever After will be shown each night at 9:15 PM. “Happily Ever After” shows a transformation of Cinderella Castle with lights, projections, and pyrotechnics.

This year, Disney Boo Bash After Hours Event will take place on select nights from August through October. On Boo Bash party nights, Happily Ever After will still be shown for all guests to see. Both the party guests and the regular daytime guests will be able to watch the fireworks shows. Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 7 PM even though the park doesn’t begin until 9:30, so you can also watch the fireworks if you choose to do so. Once the fireworks finish, day guests will have to exit the park while party guests will be able to stay in the park as the event begins.

Epcot will be showing the Epcot Forever show each night from July 1st and every night after. This is a temporary show that started when the Illuminations show ended at Epcot and will run until Harmonious debuts on October 1st. Epcot Forever will be shown at 10 PM each night.

Note: These showtimes can always change depending on the day and park hours. You will need to check the park calendar as well as My Disney Experience to see the most updated park and fireworks times. When planning your park days, it is important to factor in the special after-hours Boo Bash event because the park will close once the fireworks are over.

And as part of the transformation of Epcot, “EPCOT Forever” will produce fireworks, music, and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon. This show highlights the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination, and celebration to understand the park’s past, present, and future.

At Disneyland park in California, “Mickey’s Mix Magic” is presented nightly throughout the summer.   You will see state-of-the-art projections, lighting, and lasers that will transform Main Street USA, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and the exterior of “it’s a small world” into a dance party that goes with fireworks to celebrate Mickey Mouse.
